Access for disabled
If you address the museum store at the main entrance, you are welcome to lend a wheelchair free of charge. A few of the houses in the old village are difficult to access for users of wheelchairs – you are welcome to bring a small ramp. The museum store, the restaurant and the cafeteria all have easy access for disabled. The entire museum can be accessed by wheelchair, but on cobblestone and gravel roads it will be a good idea to have some assistance.

Toilets for disabled
Toilets for disabled are found in the main entrance and at the restaurant (in the toilet for disabled at the restaurant there is a turning place for electric wheelchairs).

Horse-drawn carriage
During the high season the point of departure for tours around the village is the museums grocer’s shop.

Historical playground
Here you can ride a velocipede as it was done in the 1880s. Or you may try to keep your balance on a beer barrel, a festive event at the marketplaces 50-100 years ago. You can try walking on stilts or play with horseshoes and a lot of other popular games from the time of our grand- or great-grandparents.

Modern playground
Next to the historical playground and the "packed lunch house" we have established a modern playground.

“Packed lunch house”
In the Forestry Museum next to the playgrounds we have built the “Packed lunch house” where you can enjoy your own food and drink, in the open or under cover.

The Museum store
Is located at the main entrance. At the store you can buy guidebooks, postcards, books dealing with the collections and exhibitions of the museum, posters, copies of museum-pieces, toys, souvenirs etc. During the living-history seasons (revitalization) more special shops are open.

Parking
The museum has a large car park at your disposal. Busses are allowed to park nearby the main entrance. Parking for disabled is also located immediately outside the main entrance.

Are located inside the main entrance and at the restaurant.

Are located inside the main entrance and at the restaurant.
