Hjerl Hede is situated at Hjerl Hedevej 14, near Vinderup in the county of Ringkøbing. The towns of Skive, Struer and Holstebro are all located in this area.

By car

You can travel directly to the museum from turn-offs on main roads 11, 16 or 34. It can also be reached by taking secondary roads 189 or 513 via Vinderup. Look for the sign posts in Vinderup, Sevel and Sahl, and consult the menu "Map" for information about parking facilities for cars, coaches and the disabled.

By public transport

Vinderup railway station is only about 5 miles from Hjerl Hede (see the above map), and is therefore the nearest train station. Vinderup station is located on the main line: Struer - Langå.

As there is no bus service from Vinderup to Hjerl Hede, the museum can only be reached by taxi.
