Living history

Dates: 30 June - 12 August + 18-19 and 25-26 August   
The Open-Air Museum is brought to life everyday from 12am to 4pm.

The old village is filled with atmosphere and life when about a hundred volunteers, young and old, don period peasant clothing and inhabit the houses and workshops. Come and feel, see, smell and taste the about 200-year-old traditions.

Through the many live, hands-on activities you and your family will get an impression of the peasant culture and its living conditions, artisan traditions and customs.

Especially for children
There are a number of funny activities for the children throughout the summer, such as:

- a school class in the old school (additional price 35 Dkr.)

- Stone Age activities

- games at the historical playground

Food and drink

Bring your own sandwiches and enjoy them in the picnic house or visit the restaurant "Skyttegaarden" for a unique day trip for the whole family.
