The Open-Air Museum is brought to life everyday from 12am to 5pm.
The old village is filled with atmosphere and life when about a hundred volunteers, young and old, don period peasant clothing and inhabit the houses and workshops. Come and feel, see, smell and taste the about 200-year-old traditions.
Through the many live, hands-on activities you and your family will get an impression of the peasant culture and its living conditions, artisan traditions and customs.
Especially for children
There are a number of funny activities for the children throughout the summer, such as:
- a school class in the old school (additional price 40 Dkr.)
- Stone Age activities
- games at the historical playground
Food and drink
Bring your own sandwiches and enjoy them in the picnic house or visit the restaurant "Skyttegaarden" for a unique day trip for the whole family.
