The barn is built in 1632 in Als, East Jutland. The barn is named after the ‘wagon room’ which is the long passage-way along the south side of the barn into which the wagons were driven in the when corn and hay were to be unloaded.
The design is of the heads type where the supporting posts are positioned free-standing inside the building. The original mud floor has been covered with a wooden floor as the barn now contains a large collection of old horse-drawn vehicles.
