The artisan’s house from Vinderup was built in 1908 by the turner Johannes Simonsen and is today fitted out with a coach builder's workshop and a turner’s workshop.
The building has whitewashed single-brick walls, a special stud construction and a tarred roof. The stud construction consists of an extra half storey – a high ceiling – providing storage room for wood etc. The 24 volt electrical installations for the lighting in the workshop are suspended below the ceiling from ceramic cups. The wheelwright’s workshop has a central electric motor which powers the wheelwright’s machinery via a belt drive.
On the west gable of the building is a large wheel from the fire brigade’s ladder truck.
